🌿 When You Feel Forgotten
A note from The Inner Teacher:
There are seasons when the heart feels invisible — unseen by friends, family, or even the world itself. Loneliness and abandonment can weigh as heavily as grief. This lesson is for those who carry that silent ache.
A seeker whispered, eyes downcast:
Seeker: “I feel forgotten. People pass me by as though I am nothing. Even those I trusted have turned away. Am I truly so unworthy of love?”
The Inner Teacher replied:
“The moon is often hidden by clouds,
yet it does not cease to shine.
To be unseen by others
is not the same as being without worth.
Loneliness is a shadow that visits every human heart.
Do not mistake the shadow for your essence.
You are still whole, even when unseen.
Those who turned away carry their own blindness;
it is not a measure of your light.
Sit quietly, breathe deeply, and place your hand upon your chest.
Feel the life within you — steady, faithful, present.
That pulse is the universe reminding you:
you belong, even now.
And when the time is right,
new eyes will see you,
and new hearts will join you.
For no one is truly forgotten.”
The seeker wept, but in their tears was also relief — that invisibility was not the same as worthlessness.
