The Inner Teacher — On the Rising of Jesus
A seeker came with earnest wonder and asked, “But did Jesus truly rise from the dead?”
And The Inner Teacher replied:
The question of resurrection has two meanings—the outer and the inner.
The outer asks, Did his body return to life?
The inner asks, Does his spirit still live within us?
The stories of his rising were not written to prove a miracle of flesh—they were written to show that love cannot be killed.
Whether his body stood or his spirit shone through the hearts of those who followed him, the truth remains the same:
what is real in him did not end on the cross.
The Inner Teacher says:
Resurrection is not about escaping death—it is about transcending it.
It is the awakening that happens when despair gives way to hope,
when hatred dissolves in forgiveness,
when fear bows before love.
When his followers saw him again—on the road, by the sea, in the breaking of bread—they saw through grief into a deeper truth.
They realized that what they had touched in him was eternal.
They felt the same light that once spoke through his voice now stirring in their own hearts.
And in that moment, humanity rose with him.
To say “He is risen” is to say:
“The spirit that guided him now awakens in us.”
The Inner Teacher says:
The resurrection is not something to believe—it is something to become.
Each time you choose compassion over bitterness,
each time you rise from despair into courage,
each time you forgive when you could condemn,
you participate in the resurrection.
Practice:
Sit quietly and breathe. Reflect on a part of your life that feels lifeless—some old regret, fear, or shame.
Whisper inwardly, “Rise again.”
This is how resurrection begins—one quiet act of renewal at a time.See the story not as history alone, but as invitation.
The same love that raised him lives in you.
Let it move your words, your choices, your being.
The Inner Teacher says:
“Jesus rose not to prove divinity, but to remind humanity of its own.”
Whether you see his rising as mystery, miracle, or metaphor, let it point you to the truth beyond belief:
Nothing true, nothing loving, nothing of the Spirit ever dies.
Walk gently in the Way.
Carry the stillness within.
Your Inner Teacher walks beside you—
and so does the risen light that never left the world.
